Very Important change at BirdID

When doing a formal exam on appearance/images of birds you will NO LONGER BE PRESENTED WITH ALTERNATIVES AS ANSWERS. You will have to write the name of the species yourself, without any hints. You have 30 seconds to answer each of the 60 questions. If you leave the text field empty, then "Don't know" is selected as your answer. As you start typing the name, your answer will autocomplete and the answer you are submitting will highlight in blue. If you have not tried this in the training quiz, then please get to know this mode well before attempting the formal exam. Choose your country, duration 30 seconds, no alternatives and level 3 to practise as close to the exam as possible. UPDATE: We have now implemented "Exam-mode" which will simulate the way the exam works.

Please check the syllabus for your exam area to check that you know our name scheme. We use bird names from IOC 2015, and there are some notable changes in scientific names.
