Win a trip! -from your doorstep to a top destination

To inspire more people to complete our formal tests we are giving away one of our WP trips for free. The winner will be drawn from candidates completing new formal tests between 1st of September and 5th of October 2014. We will pay the travel from your home (Europe only) to the meeting point and give you the guided trip for free.To get tickets you need to complete one or several of the formal tests at our website. The test is free for foreign students and you will get a formal paper with valid study credits. By doing so you will also be helping us to keep BirdID open and freely acessible for everyone. We give you one ticket for a national formal test, and two extra tickets for completing a formal test of the whole of Western Palearctic. You can get a maximum of 4 tickets for the lottery by completing 2 national tests and one WP, or by passing both our WP tests on sounds and appearance.
The winner will be notified and announced at our website www.birdid.no in October. The final winner eventually needs to complete and pass both our tests on birds in the Western Palearctic. The Score must be at least 24 points out of 60 in bird appearance, and at least 19 point out of 60 in bird sounds, or a new winner will be drawn.  The winner gets a free choice between a trip to Morocco, Bulgaria or Norway. 15/10-2014 Update: We've had a rush of people signing up for the formal test and have not been able to keep up. We will therefore draw a winner among those who signed up for the test between 1st of September and 5th of October 2014. (These will of course also need to complete and pass the test). We find it most fair to make this change since we have not been able to send people the codes for the formal tests quickly enough. We will make the draw in the beginning of November when all codes from before 5th of October have expired.
